Took about 4 hours. Not real hard, just make yourself a seal driver tool out of PVC. Do a search, plenty of discussions. Looks hard at first but really not, just one step at a time.

Did this to my Heritage Softail in my garage with no specialty tools. Was actually pretty easy. This was the first time I attempted it. Lowers never leaked a drop. Was a bit disheartening seeing the front end in pieces all over the garage though. Wife walked out, took one look and walked away shaking her head. She couldn't understand taking a perfectly good motorcycle apart.

It is not any better when she walks out and sees the pistons, heads and cams on the floor and bench. "I thought you weren't going to do anything to this one? Same deal walked away shaking her head.
