You would think Harley would put saddle bag rails on limited's, They put them on non limited's, I truly believe they are a must so I got them on the way. Just thought limited's were upper end baggers with all the other added options they could have added them as well, Oh forgot bout front bumper and rails too godda get them as well...

Why didn't you just buy an Ultra Classic so would have all of that!

I took them off my Ultra. I think it looks cleaner without them.

Them not being on the Limited is one of the things I like about it. Cleaner look. Same thing with the front bumper. Like it better without.

Different strokes I guess. I removed mine and the front bumper. I think it looks much better. I also secured the bags so they can't fall off.

I asked about this when I bought mine. The answer I got was that the Limited is the step between the Classic and the CVO, and the CVO doesn't have them either. They wanted the Limited to look more like the CVO than the Classic. The CVO doesn't have front and rear fender tip lights either, and they have bullet style turn signals (among other differences in appearance) - so they don't look all that much alike. It all boils down to what some design guy in the MOCO's HQ decided, I guess.

Personally I like the look better, but it's a matter of opinion.

As said, if they had wouldn't you pretty much have an Ultra?
