Possible problems after new cam install
I put everything back together and downloaded the map from fuel moto on my powervision and have been using the auto tune function with a reset on trim values.
First start up I had some noise coming from the intake breather kinda like a ticking/pinging noise. Took it for a ride around the block and it would idle fine and it definitely has a lot more power. As the auto tune was kicking in the noise seemed to go away. Rode it last night and it pulls hard all the way thru the gears an up to 4500 rpm. Havent taken it further then that.
Today I went out in the garage to see how the noise was at a cold start. started right up and idled iy down to 950-1000 rpm after a while with little intake noise that goes away when i revved it a little. But then I noticed the front header pipe glowing orange a little and the rear pipe wasnt at all. Makes me think something is off besides the autotune still making spark adjustments from the trim resets. When riding it seems normal with power and no back fires just worried I am overlooking something and dont really wanna tear it all apart to recheck everything. Should I give it some miles, could it be off a tooth somewhere, push rods off adjustment, map issues?

Just check the O2s. Black is the rear pipe.
Sometimes having a cam off a tooth will just make the bike ride poorly. Best to check CCP with a compression tester. If front and rear are fairly close? Good to go. Tooth off will be readily noticeable with a comp check.
Stock pipe may glow, but a tuned bike should not, so much.
