Default Check Engine Light Doing Something New?

09 FLHX
Turn ignition on like and wait for check engine light to go out before start as usual.
Now check engine light do something it has not done before (1 of the 2 happens).
1. Turn ignition on and wait for check engine light to go out, however, if I don't hit to start right away (withing 10 sec) light comes back on and then goes out again.
2. Turn ignition on and wait for check engine light to go out and start before light comes back on. If I do this the check engine light will still come back on for a few seconds and goes back out and stays out.

Either way light does not say on steady.
Other than that bike runs like it always has.
Anyone else seen this? Anything to worry about?

That is to let you know there was a problem at one time...

Might still be a problem, but that is telling you it is holding an historical code in memory.
After 50 start/stop cycles it should no longer do that, unless it is still a problem.

Mute is correct. Your ECM has thrown some codes in the past. You can see what the codes are, address and clear them, and if all is good, the behavior of the engine light should go back to normal.
