well about half the suggestions so far are louder than your monster ovals. look at super trap or se,the ones with tunable discs,u can get whatever sound u want and they get the best #s for a quiet exhaust.

I was in the same boat you are. I took the MO's off not because of the drone but it was robbing me of 22 hp! I went with Supertrapp 2:1 super megs and imho are the best radio friendly tunable exhaust system out there. They will be more than fine for what you have going in your build. I have heard the D&D on a stock motor and it sounds horrible. And those that I know that have them want to get rid of them. I just did a major rebuild and I am toying with a Thunderheader but it will wake up the dead, Im probably going with my S/T with 35 discs and open end cap.

Yeah me too, if I need ear plugs they'd have to go....Ive had my Fatshotz on for awhile now. Very adjustable. No drone or annoyance but when your behind it sounds awesome....took having someone ride it for me to hear it and who knew they sounded that good even a block away...when riding it youd think they were real tame cause its not loud at all. I dont have the Cat and running 5 disks each side....

New take-off Screaming Eagle Slip-ons here. They look good and are loud enough for me. I'll be de-catting soon so they may get slightly louder, but overall they are just where I want to be in volume.

Also a supertrapp guy! Have SE fatshotz 16 disc with open caps & no CAT. The stereo rocks and making good power without all the racket! Even have EPA stamps.
