Any creative use for the audio deck spot? :D

Default Any creative use for the audio deck spot? :D
I have no intention of ever using the audio deck on my FLTRU. The bike was chosen because I wanted the touring frame and a fairing, and I don't like how the Bats handle (or look, at most angles), so ... FLTRU it was.

But... that audio deck is just taking up space. Has anyone ever seen a creative use for that spot?

I just came back from a ride, and thought the same thing.

Maybe a hinged door? I know the wind sucks anything out, that is in there.

It fills up a hole and keeps water out.

Yeah, here's what I did. Billet aluminum insert to fill the hole & a billet aluminum mount for my GPS. Had a local guy cut 'em, cost me $60.

Very nicely done! Good idea, and well executed.

HD makes a zipper/velcro pouch that fits the 'radio' spot... I put one in my police bike 'radio' spot.
