Noise is not affected when the run switch is on or off, and doesn't make any different noise pattern with turn signals. Just a constant noise when the ignition is in any position except off. There is about a 1 second delay when the ignition is activated, almost like something is being energized then the noise starts. That's why I'm suspecting the FuelPak but that is just a guess. Tomorrow is going to be a rainy day, I'll disconnect the fuelpak and see if makes a difference. I'm also thinking of adding a noise filter in the power line feeding the radio but don't really want to start hacking wires on a relatively new bike.
Having same issue. How did you fix it?

Added any LED lights? They have been known to cause RFI. The add on chokes I have seen are made in halves with a plastic hinge connecting the halves. The wire goes in a groove, the choke halves are folded together and snapped shut. No wire cutting and splicing is needed. The radio is a receiver and will pick up interference generated elsewhere. I believe you will need to put the filters (chokes) on the wires feeding the source of the interference, not on the radio power wire. Would be nice if Radio Shack were still in business, most of this stuff must now be found and ordered on net. The part costs $1 and shipping is $5. Brick and mortar stores have an advantage for stuff like this.
