Default Road King pulls left

Hello, I have a 2004 Road King that pulls to the left with hands off handle bars(I know we shouldn't do this). Never mind did a search.
Thank you,
Ken

Look ma, no hands. I ride that way all the time. I don't get caught up in what I'm supposed to do or what other people think I should or should not do.

You can adjust the alignment, there are some good posts on that. Are your bars a bit crooked? If they are loosen the two bolts down around the triple tree, the ones you have to loosen to adjust the steering head bearing so the front end won't bind when you tight it. When they are loose pull your bars straight and tighten the bolts down.

I've had 4 Harley's and all of them pulled to the left a little, to me it just seems normal. With both hands on the bars I cant feel it.

this is more true than you know.

when I tour I weigh my saddlebags to ensure that the load is properly balanced, side to side and as low as possible.

it makes a huge difference.

....

and drivetrain alignment is easy to check:

get 2 8' flourescent tubes.

have someone hold bike upright. place one end of tubes on each side of the rear tire, extending towards the front wheel.

measure the distance from the front wheel to the tubes- should be exactly the same on each side

I went through the alignment on mine once and it did nothing for the pull. Like Mike said I put my tool kit on the right and that fixed the pull.

I bought a new '69 BSA, Rocket III, 750cc three-cylinder and it pulled to the right from the day I picked it up until the day I traded it in!

The dealer claimed there was nothing wrong with the bike (not unusual) and I did everything I could think of with no positive results.

Just ride it and lean or sit a little off-center on the seat.
