I have a 2012 Street Glide. I am currently running 3.5" Rinehart slip-ons. I have ordered a decatted head pipe. So I was looking at getting the FL-Vieds. My question is, Can I run a stage one air cleaner with this setup? Will the Vieds compensate enough for air cleaner? If so, what air cleaners are a good choice? How do you know when you have the Vieds adjusted correctly? Thanks for info. Only way to learn is to ask.
got them on my 2012 rgc, after market slipons and ness big sucker with stock head pipe cat still in. had them on my 09 streetglide with no cat and big sucker and on my rockerc with bigsucker and vance hine short shots, if you call the guy at nightrider he will give you a idea where to set them. but I had no other mods planned and rgc runs fine as the other 2 also ran very good.

The short answer is yes, yes, almost any stage 1 air cleaner, diff people like diff looks, you should call nightrider about that.
You can definitely run em with a stage 1. They are made to work with a stage 1. I chose arlen ness big sucker because it has the breather vents built into the air cleaner assembly rather than have rubber hoses that can crack over time and leak (my preference) Most people that run vied's have them set at 50%, some more some less, each bike will run diff ( riding conditions, atmospheric conditions and such) You will know when your bike is in its sweet spot (no pinging, good gas mileage and peppy) The above is MHO, I am not an expert but I play one on TV, lmao. If I am wrong about anything, someone will quote me and set the record straight. Good luck with your bike man, stay safe.
my bike ran better with the Xieds than with the pc5,only with stage one and still running the cat........
+1 on that. Mine ran far better with the Xied's than the PCV. But then I relied on fuel moto for a map that would get me in the ball park, that didn't pan out.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I talked to Steve at Nightrider today. Great guy, answered all my questions. Have a set vieds on the way. Now to order air cleaner.
