I am about 6'1" tall and the Windshield on the SG is too low. Thinking about a 8" Clearview recurve (tinted). Is this too lowor to high? Iwant to keep the low profile look but also keep the wind from blasting me in thenose. Anyone using fastair?
Yes, I am using the 9 inch smoke Fastaire and I am 6'2" and I love it, I am thinking of getting the 8" this Spring (I like the curve better). It brings the air OVER the head, not into it like the stock SG shield. PLUS , It makes the tunes sound better.

At 6'1" I think you may find the 8" Clearview shield still a bit short for you if you're looking for protection. I'm 6' and have one, and it DOES work with the recurve, but still feels like a short shield to me. The recurve look while I used to think looked cool has kind of grown old for me as well. If you want to go that route, you might want to try the 9.5" from Clearview. Windshields in that size still look pretty sleek IMO, particuarly next to the 12" clear stock FLHT ones.
