On my FLHTK I have a problem when the seat gets wet from raining so much this year, it won't dry out. Had to take the seat of and hang it up for about a week by the tail to get all the water to go to one end and squeeze it out. I would have expected it to drain within 24 hours of the rain stopping. I've tryed to lather it up with vinyl conditioner but nojoy even tryed saddle soap but no joy Question and body have a recommendation toy make it drain/dry out quicker?
Seat padding is foam which acts as a sponge. Water gets in through the seams. Mustang Seats recommends Protect All, worked into the seams to help keep the water out.
Or you can buy a rain cover for the seat from the MOCO. Works well to also keep the seat cooler when you have to park in the sun all day.
pretty much what the guys said...anything to seal up the stitching....mink oil (in a can) or snow proof, which is kind of like mink oil, will pretty much do the trick, or at least help out.
Buy the rain cover for your saddle or one for your bike.
Sno-Seal is a PIA and eventually it will rot the threads
that hold your saddle together.
Had it happen to my hiking boots and dont use it anymore.
I am on my second saddle on my 02 Ultra and it eventually gets wet from riding in the rain, but dries quickly, especially after leaving the state that it is raining in.

Never heard of problems with Sno seal, been working well for me. Sounds like more of a boot issue.
