PC does not use 02s. Never gets into closed loop. It an add on that controls ecm through the 02 inputs. Like all add ons. Power Vision, TTS, SEPRT actually reprogram ecm and retain 02s and closed loop.
you're going to plug in the AutoTuner. The PCV runs the bike in a closed loop environment so it does not need the O2 sensors. Just take yours out or leave them in but disconnected. if you do go for the AutoTune then you'll need to install the wideband sensors that come with it. Unless you climb to over 7500 ft then it won't even be noticeable to you. Don't sweat the O2 thing, the bike (with the right map) will run great in closed loop.
I always thought the 02 sensors made the EFI system change for alltitude and conditions.
So what I read the o2 sensors are for gettting the system to burn all un wanted fuel and to run eficient. Has nothing to do with actually the tune changing.
Then if I hook up the auto tune(option) to the power comander .You put in there o2 sensors. In turn just reads data for a display.....
Hmm................ still on the fence with being lead the wrong way my whole life....lol
You do not run the o2 sensors with the PC-V.
In fact, I took off the sensors and wires and plugged the holes with o2 sensor bung plugs as I did not want/like the way the wires just hung there.
If you decide you want to do an auto tuner in conjunction with the PC-V then you will employ the o2 sensors, until then you do not use them.
If you choose to have your bike dyno-ed there is no need for the o2 sensors either.
