Interesting. Stock radio here too, and I only started having problems after installing a class D amp.
Class D amps are known for FM reception problems. You can read all about it in the Audio section. Or better yet, consult Mr. UltraNutz. I'm sure he could help.

I know all about class D amps and where the audio section is, thanks. I don't need/want his "help".
I am having reception problems and interference when I use my directionals. Receptions goes in and out as the light blinks. I have the phase 7 light CD LEDs all around with biketronics load equalizer. So will follow this thread and any help with fixes are more than welcome here.
I had the same problem with a pair of LED running lights I added to the bike. Turned them on and instantly wiped out my FM & Weather on my stock radio and antenna. It was so bad that is was bleeding over to my CB. I tried RFI filters, chokes, a capacitor across the power and ground and nothing worked. A good test is to power the light off of the bike using a car charger and see if it still interferes. In my case the light still emitted RF off of the bike, so there is no fix or anything you can add to the wiring because its not in the wiring. I returned them. What manufactures are doing these days is going away from the conventional voltage drop of resistors and using a pulse modulated voltage circuit. They are applying full power to the LEDs in a pulse. If it was constant it would burn it out, so they pulse the power. Unfortunately this pulsing causes RF. Most of the LED lights are made in China and there is no regulations like here for radio interference. Im working with the factory Rep on a new set of lights and will have a write up soon on alternative lighting.
