I bought a pair of JRi shocks form Howard and just got them dialed in so I thought I would give you my impression so far. I have a 2010 Street Glide and I bought the 13" shocks which with sag has kept my seat height the same as it was. The first thing I noticed was that the ride is more controlled, back tire no longer leaves the pavement. I don't know if I realized before how much that was happening. This is really significant in rough corners which are common here in Michigan. The ride is firm but no more spine tinglers. I went down a road I commonly travel and I know where to get my butt off the seat if I don't want it to hurt and added 10mph to my normal speed and no more pain. If you are looking for a plush ride you probably own the wrong bike and these shocks won't give it to you. If you want a better handling bike and a 1" more shock travel these shocks are the answer. I am quite impressed and I let my brother, who has the same bike, ride it and he is also. We took both bikes down the same stretch of road multiple times to see the difference and it is impressive. They have given me more confidence cornering as you no longer get the rear wheel hop when you find rough road in the middle of the corner. These shocks are a worthwhile purchase.
they get better with miles , my only disagreement with your review is you can get a plush ride as well with the JRi shocks once you have them dialed in correctly
I had Howard dial mine in at Leesburg in April, now that I've put about 2k more miles on them the shocks are perfect, I never thought the rear shocks could make such a difference, as tj316 said, they get better with miles.
Hey guys I talked to Howard today and he suggested the Jri in 13" for me I have a 12 street glide and want to be a lil lower than I am now will I get this with the 13 or should I go with the 12's. he said the 13's will sag to 11.6 I think.. what is ur experience's thanks

My advice, listen and follow the direction that Howard gives you. He really does know what he is talking about. BTW: I have set of his Ohlins #2 adjustable on my 09 FLHX.
