I have an 07 FLHT and would like to add lower fairings to my bike. I have seen a lot for sale and I did find a couple I'm interested in. However I would hate to buy them and find out it doesn't fit. Does anyone know if a 2004 ultra fairing would fit an 07 flht? and would they be easy to install?
I looked in the 2012 HD Catalog which says lower fairing fits 83-later touring except certain models NOT including your model. So you should be ok. Vented or non-vented lower fairings make a difference. Double check the catalog or call the dealer. The type of engine guards makes a difference as well. Mustache engine guards are not compatible. I transferred the fairings from my totaled 09 FLHTCU onto my 12 FLHX which was no problem. Pretty EZ to install. Do ur research before pulling the trigger.
I bought a set of vented lowers for our '03 FLHR, came off an '06 FLHX, no difference in mount.
Have a similar set on our current '12 FLTRU, look so similar as to be the same. All were/are vented, leave them full open most of the time, close them down in rain and really cool rides(less than 40).
