Bicycle cable lock. Why didn't I ever think of that. On Euro and Jap bikes the helmet lock comes with the bike and are usually under the quick detach seat which you open with your bike key. Wonder why Harley doesn't put such a easy thing on these.

On my KTM I was wondering what the cable was that came with the bike toolkit now that I start reminiscence it was for the helmet.

Plain old, nothing fancy Harley helmet lock. Need the key to unlock and lock but it works fine for me.

Has anybody actually had a helmet stolen? I locked my helmets for years and then I was like "who wants a used helmet?'

Aren't all helmets 'used'.

Even new helmets get used, how long until even 'new' helmets become a "death wish"?
Some 'used' helmets for sale probably have less 'use' than some helmets still in use.
