hi. my body have a 81 flt .ido have 82 flt.both bike are born with dual head light.on my after a small accident .i change the front nacelle to single light..and put bat wing fairing to it.fairing nacelle is empty..no inside finish .this is bolts to the fork tree with 2 brackets..my body have a lot a spare parts.bag .tank.flt fairing .radio. we live in quebec canada.20 milles from maine...mrfuji

Thanks i did get the website to work and the 84 FLHTC schematic looks like what my front end looks like with the dash on the forks and nacelle. I would assume that any batwing will mount to those factory brackets or do they need to be specific to an 84 FLH?

Early batwings will fit. I *think* they changed the way they mount in the mid 90's, maybe 95 or 96, not sure. A later model batwing is just a shell with no mounting tabs. Early ones use the arms like in the diagram.
