Default Passenger backrests
I just picked up a used tour pack, and plan on mounting it on my 93 FLHS. We are not sure what vintage the tour pack is, but popular opinion is early 90s, late 80s. It has NO holes in the front side for the mounting of a backrest pad.

Is that unusual, or did they come w/o holes, and if you wanted to put a pad on it, you drilled the holes yourself? Or do the backrest pads not even mount with bolts?

Just make a template out of paper from your backrestand lay it against tourpack and drill your holes through paper in correct location.

Thanks !! To preclude any unrepairable eff ups, I might just have the body shop do that, when they paint it.
