I just picked up a bagger and had a few exhaust questions. I know i probably wont stay stock since i never have. I have always ran a thunder header, however, now with the radio, i don't want a big loud obnoxious exhaust.
I was looking at just doing a set of slip ons from harley with their stage 1 kit, however, i am sure it will still run hot with the cats and 02 sensors. Are the majority of you changing the whole pipe, dropping the 02 sensors, running power commanders etc, or are the majority of you just running a slip on with no mods. Tell me your whole set up and if your happy. I am searched the threads but most are just exhaust specific. Thanks for your personal experience
There is absolutely nothing wrong with running 02 sensors! Ya need a proper tuner & tune to remap the ecm (Powervision/TTS/SEPRT). Slipons and A/C along with a tune is a stage 1. Adding a headpipe and/or removing the CAT is plus but not real performance gain on newer stage 1 bikes.
