Alright, I just picked up a 2013 Street Glide a couple months ago and can't fill up my gas tank without it splattering at me the entire time I fill up. This is my third HD and I've never had this problem before. Any tricks?

Yes, stick it all the way in, or at least till the end of the nozzle is past the filler hole. I was having the same issue, splashing all over me and the bike by being too careful. Started sticking it in further and problem was solved.

Stick ut in far and don't let it rest on the cap because it could break that off

Run it slow.
If you do stick in in all the way, it will click off and then have about 1/2 gallon left to go.

Just take it easy, no need to be in a hurry.
Take off your helmet and sunglasses so you can see.

Keep a micro-fiber towel handy on the bike,
don't use gas station paper towels they will scratch the hell out of the clear coat.

Can't say I've had trouble with splashing, but I do like to keep it in deep...

This thread is starting to get smutty sounding!

Seriously, I run about half throttle when the pump hits 4 gallons and my tank is filled right to the neck when she shuts off. I might be able get a bit more in, but whats 210 miles versus 220 between fill ups? Not a big deal for me.

The gas hoses I use have a handle...that controls a valve, so you can contol the ammount of gas that comes out of the nozzle.
If you still have trouble...ask the old lady behind the cash register to help you.
