I have a PCIII on my 1999 EGC FI, both have the M&M FI so it would be about the same thing.
I had done some work to the bike, Andrews TW21 cams, SE AC and so on, thats why I installed it.
If your not going to do any work to the bike and it runs fine I'd just leave it, on the other hand if you plan on upgrading a bunch of **** then your going to need one afterwords.
The PCIII worked okay when I first installed it, a little too rich. But after haveing the bike properly Dyno'd it's bloody amazing now.
Just this weekend I installed a PCIII. had a stage one with the air cleaner and pipes and the download from the factory. Went with true duals and decided to get the PC as well. the difference in the way the bike runs is very significant. I got mine from Fuel Moto.
