After spending a few weeks checking out different bars,I decided what I needed was a bar that was higher and more pull back.I went with the Road king high bar part # 56180-08 which was 2 1/2" higher with 2" more pull back compared to the stock 55947-08 bars that came on my 2013 RK.I have had them on for a few weeks now and find them very comfortable and have no hand or arms problems after long rides.I am 6' 2".Best part of bar swap was you didn't need anything but the new bar.
Can you share a picture, thinking about bars on the same bike. I recently changed the seat and it pushed me forward an inch or so and some of the issue resolved.

I too would like to see your roadking high bars on your bike if you have pics.
I have Hill Country Customs 16" Ape Hanger Kit installed. The kit included everything but the grips for roughly $940 delivered to my door. They are so much more comfortable than stock. I have everything chromed out. They cost me roughly $1400 with the purchase of grips and having my HD dealership do the install. That's a $1,000 less than going the HD route. I haven't had any issues in the 2 years since I had them installed. Mine were initially set a little bit forward from the forks but I moved them back so they're just a little bit lined up behind the forks. I'm 6'1" and that's the most comfortable for me. I would test drive some bikes with different style bars to be safe though. It cost a lot of money to be wrong. I went with these after sitting on a bike with apes at the dealership.
