My local shop advised me to put D and D boarzilla instead of fat cat witch is the right pipe for my stage 1 103 street glide. Didn't realize this till it was to late anyone have thoughts on this. Think I'm loosing low end torque, after dynoed he said his printer was broken couldn't give me a print out of my hp and torque.
You do not need a Boarzilla until you get up into the 117" stage 4 engines. I'd think about finding another shop to deal with. I'm sure your bottom end numbers are extremely disappointing and it sucks they offered you such bad advice. Even if the printer was broke, they would be able to read the damn screen but I'm sure they were too embarrassed to show you!
You may find someone to trade you out of the Boarzilla???
Your shop needs to talk to D&D tech support. The Boarzilla is designed for motors 116" to 131". I have the boss fat cat on mine which is 110" and it is fine.
Put a Boarzilla on a 103 and you are going to have a hell of a time getting the most out of it. My last bike was a 110 and a different dealer put a Boarzilla on it. The dyno tuner had to "fool" the software by telling it it had a 130" engine on it before I could get a decent tune. Even then it really wasn't anything as good as the boss fat cat.
If your shop convinced you the Boarzilla was right, well don't know how else to say it, they made a mistake and apparently haven't a clue what they are doing with D&D exhausts.

Ditto on all the above. I'm a stage 2 103 and d&d discouraged even a baffle change with my build. I'm using a regular fat cat with a louvered baffle, and I got 100 tq at 2200 rpm.
