I had an 07 SG with the 103/255's that wasn't tuned.... it ran pretty decent.... but my buddy had a Softail with the same basic set up that was tuned and could smoke me at ANY speed we hit it from, to the point it was kind of ridiculous..... that little bit extra weight brings them down A LOT.With out a perfect tune... even more.

Not saying that the tune isn't completely wrong and hurting you pretty bad... you should notice a big jump between stock and with stage 2.... but it will be a jump in the performance of that bike.. you can't compare it to something lighter.

I could tell a pretty decent difference in my RGC when I had the cams and dyno done at any RPM ... It took of easier and pulled harder all the way to redline.

From the HD site... the softail he had weighed 675
the SG I had weighed 811
a tri-glide weighs 1,191

Maybe I missed something but how I read it you took the power commander off an 09 96 and put it on a 2012 103. I believe the power commander for the 103's are a different part number than the 96's. Get a hold of Keith or Jamie and ask them.

Wife has a 2012 TriGlide with PC V from FuelMoto, SE aircleaner and 3 1/2" Rineharts with a gutted cat. Friend has a 2013 Tri with the same setup except he has 255 cams. There is a definate difference between how the two run. His has more power and is almost as good two up as the wife's is single, and either one is considerably better than stock.

The TriGlides are big, heavy and have a lot of rubber on the ground so you are not going to get the performance you were getting on two wheels, but your tri set up the way it is should get you through the Rockie Mountains as fast as you can handle the curves. The wife's and my friend's both do.

Ride over to PCB Harley and have them dyno tune you trike. They have one of the only trike dyno around. They are great people to work with. Call Mark, the service manager.

[quote="Big E"; can I download there map , go back to stock, then put my power commander in and get a map from Jamie or keith? , thanks, Eddie[/quote]

I'm confused, are you saying the dealer removed the Power Commander and installed the SE tuner from Harley?

You could take it back to the dealer and ask them to return the trike to the original with stock download - Or - I don't see why you can't simply add the piggyback Dynojet power Commander you already have, program it for a stock '12 dresser, purchase Auto Tune and let Autotune tweak the program for you.

If you have the SE Race Tuner installed and the Dynojet Power Commander was removed, did they reinstall the 12 mm O2 sensors in your 18mm bungs? Consider purchasing the Dynojet Autotune and add it to your system. You mentioned you installed the pre-10 head pipes which have the larger 18mm bungs so you are ready for the 18mm O2 sensors required for Autotune

I think you could reinstall the Power Commander, purchase and install Autotune, ride it and follow instructions from time to time for approving map changes as recommended by Autotune.

Call power commander and ask for Ken, he writes the maps for the Harley's and really knows what he is doing. He has helped me several times and each time I am grateful and learning the self tuning process. Also check for the auto tune system.

I don't care what tuner or cams you have, if they're not tuned properly they're no better than stock. I have Andrews 54 cam with TTS, I've had it tuned by a so called good tuner, via a lap-top 4 times. The first 3 were no difference from stock, the 4, it run great but got only 25 mpg. So enough is enough, I had it dynoed. What a difference a day makes, runs like a scaled dog and get 39mpg.
