Pics of windshields
Ok so my cheap eBay windshield finally broke and I'm thinking about going with the 7in wind splitter now I know it may not be the best overall but I think it's the best compromise between form and function. I was thinking about the 10in but just don't know about the look so I was wondering if we could get some pics of people's windshields brand and size installed and a quick review?

I have had a 12 in. Long ride shield for several years on my ultra's. It works great but you have to look through it. So it can be hard to see. I bought a LRS 7 in. shield but returned it because it didn't seem to push enough air over me on my new bike. Then I tried a clockwerks shield. it looked cool but didn't work very well. Finally I was at J&P cycles and they had a 7 in. Memphis Shield. Very thick and looked great and works perfectly. I'm staying with this one. Sorry no pic's yet. Hope it helps

HD 10" lightly smoked Windsplitter here on a Street Glide. Tried the shorter ones and got a lot of helmet buffeting. This one was the best (not looking, but functional):

my HD lexan took an apple sized rock ay hwy speeds that would have broken my face- just a slight mark on the lexan.
all materials are not equal.
some like a recurve.
I prefer a stock HD windscreen cut to size.
the bottom ( hidden) edge is easily cut with a rotozip or jigsaw to exactly the rider's desired height.
and this can be the least expensive option.
a "non-recurve" also allows the rider to tuck into it in crap weather and look through the windscreen if needed.
This is my EG Classic, with a -3" windscreen, which matches my seated height with the FLHX seat, when I use a lower solo seat, I use a lower windscreen. When I use a taller ultra seat , then a higher windscreen.
I usually have the top edge 'appear" to intersect the road about 40' ahead
