Thanks for the compliments folks. It was a lot of work and many hours of eBay sniping. I learned plenty about what parts are interchangeable on Harleys. One of the few parts I bought new from the dealer were the white foot boards/brake pedal/shifter peg. I was having a hard time finding them and miraculously they showed up on the H-D web site last month!
The seat is the original Street Bob seat that came on the bike. A local upholstery guy redid it in the 1950s Buddy Seat pattern using very high quality snow mobile seating material. $100 bill in his pocket and the seat went from a piece of crap to a damn comfortable seat with the memory foam in the new pleats.
The trumpet horn is the Evo model. It bolted right up to the cam cover and to the horn mount. The Twin Cam engine has a little less room between the cylinders apparently so I just re-plumbed it with copper tubing. It took an evening. Remember though, the touring engine is tilted forward vs the Dyna and Softail engine which is tilted back. Many things on this bike required some tweaking to get it to fit.
