My 17 year old has been having back pain when 2 up so I tossed around the idea of the butt buddy, gel pads, and a new Corbin. My last Corbin was fantastic but I bought that 10 years ago and I hate laying out that kind of money without knowing I'll like the seat.
Several of the guys who work at the dealer have the Hammock Rider and Passenger Seat on their bikes and they love it so I decided to demo it. I kept the demo from Friday through Monday last week and I can easily say this is the most comfortable seat I have ever ridden. And my kid says no more back pain. Naturally when I returned the demo seat I bought one on the spot.
Is it the nicest looking seat? No, its vanilla. And I'm sure its not for everyone but its damn wide, like me, and I'm really enjoying it.

It's not the nicest looking seat in fact it's the ugliest, but for the long rides I don't know if there's another that compares
Good to hear success stories on here like that.
Beats the typical whiney *** complaints that usually come thru.
If your like me who gives a rip what Anyone thinks. If its cozy, and you like it, congrats. As you mentioned spending $$$ to find out it isn't your cup of tea, sux.
Are you able to put a driver back rest in that one if you desired to?
The HD. System for the driver backrest sux in my opinion. Eliminates Thea ability to put on a solo seat, I canabalized the HD adjustable bracket and made another one mounted it directly in the hammock seat pan, still fully adjustable and comes off with the seat.
