Only 2500 miles on my new 13 Street Glide and the cam chest sounds like a can of marbles. Not a constant sound like would come from the lifters but a random sound like something is flying around loose in there.
Just add it to the list I guess. Should have just kept my 05 Road Glide.

Yes, should have kept the '05 and removed the fugly and threw on a batwing.
On a second listen I think the noise may be trans or clutch related. In neutral if I pull in the clutch the noise quiets, let the clutch out and the rattling is back. every once in a while when letting the clutch in or out I hear what sounds like the primary chain hitting inside the case.
Ride the **** out of it, its new. If it slings apart within 2 years its gonna get fixed on their dime. If it bothers you that much, keep taking it back, sooner or later they are ACTUALLY gonna look into the problems you describe, or try another dealer. Get it documented in their system so they know its systemic with your bike, that may help down the road if you have to make a claim. Good luck and stay safe.
why do people just automatically jump to there new bike is a pos without actually taking it to the dealer or knowing what it is. its like you want something to be wrong with it.
