Do an ebay search for AntennaX. I originally bought one of those rubber ones from the auto parts store and the reception was horrid. I bought the 15" AntennaX and the reception is better than the stock whip antenna.
I've heard the J&M antennas are good too, the only difference I could find is that the J&M has a set screw like the stock whip and the AntennaX does not.
