Posted similar article a few days ago with no responses so I guess no one has done a similar configuration. I will try again though. I have the Yaffe Extended tank on my 2012 SG and am trying to find the best seat for that. Le Pera and Danny Gray both make seats for this. I am curious if anyone has had any experience with the companies and can offer any advice before I decide and shell out the money on an expensive seat.
Have had 2 lepera seats on 2 bikes. Love both but for different reasons.
Fat boy the bare bones solo looks just awesome but my back end really doesn't like the seat much after about 30 min.
Have a Monterey solo with backrest and the passenger pillion on the street glide. Although its not at sleek as the bare bones it is way more comfortable and I can ride for hours.
If money is not really the issue, but you just want to make sure it is done right the first time, I'd suggest having DG put the Airhawk system into your seat. Might have to play around with the air to get what is perfect for you, but it should cover whatever is most comfortable for you.
Otherwise, with a regular seat from each of them you'll likely get all sorts of answers since everybody's *** is different.
