Where to find Engine number
Does anyone have a picture or a point of reference as to where I could find the engine number on an 02 Electra Glide. I'm trying to get it registered and I need the number to complete. The reason I need a picture is because the bike is in another city, and I need to have my female cousin find it and take a picture for me. Anything you guy could provide that I could forward would help me out a lot. I need to get it registered so I can finally start riding!!!!! Help

Stand on left side of bike...
Looking at the engine from the left side, directly under the horn (big chrome cow bell shaped thing) just under where the two large finned cylinders come together, there is an oblong smooth area with a number pressed into it. Should be an asterisk before and after the number.
The VIN on the frame is the only legal number used for registration/title since 1970...
