Didn't have mine more than an hour and I screwed it up.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very familar with GPS's. I decided to sell my StreetPilot III to get the Quest.
I love it and am glad I did it, but...
After I loaded the update from the Garmin site and went to delete some maps that I had just put in, I LOST all of the Harley Dealer data!!![:@]
There's an Icon to search dealers, but I deleted the info...somehow! I just got off the phone with Garmin Tech support and they confirmed that it's gone.
So now I have to send it back to Garmin (7-10 days) and get it re-loaded.
Anyone else to do an upgrade to 3.50 without losing their dealers??
I did the upgrade within a day of getting mine, no problems at all, but I did my update before I had any of my maps loaded, so I didnt' try and delete anything.
I've been kinda wondering myself how sturdy the connections are on the base. I didn't get a chance to get it out on the road yet since I screwed it up the first night.
UltraGeezerGlide is gonna get mad at me if I keep spamming the board with this story But he doesn't get any relief from me until I get it back from M&M cycles.
