Question on removing fork studs.
Can I get you folks to give me some tips as how to remove the studs from the bottom of the right fork? Is it righty tighty lefty loosey? I will be installing Hill Country Customs custom fork end. The bike is a 2010 Electra glide ultra classic.

Yup just like a normal bolt. If it doesn't want to come loose you can hit the bolt with a torch to break the locktite. Don't get it too hot that you burn up seals or if chrome lowers you will blue the chrome
A couple more questions:
- Is it best to mount the new chrome sliders on the bike first and then remove the studs or put the slider in a vise and remove the studs?
- Can some explain how to removing the studs using the double nut method?

Screw two nuts onto the stud then tighten the nuts together.Place a wrench onto the top nut and unscrew the stud.
By 'top nut'...
He is meaning the inner nut. The one closest to the fork. The outer nut would just twist away from the other and not let you remove the stud. You cinch the two nuts together, then putting the wrench on the inner nut, it tightens against the outer nut and causes the stud to rotate. Looking at the stud from the outer end, turn counter clockwise. (Righty tighty, Lefty loosey) Hope that makes sense...
