Default Paul Yaffe 12' Street Glide

So, I met this guy yesterday who has 12' inch PY on his SG. He had the stock mirror and said he could see out of them fine....which is the setup I want. Previously, I tested my buddy's 14(s) on his SG....."for me"...I don't like the look. I want my hands behind the fairing because it just looks a little cleaner to me.

Anyway...this guys says.....these are 12(s), but they actually measure as 10(s) and your buddy's 14(s) actually measure as 12(s) because of the two inch recess that all SGs have. Does anyone know what he is referring to?

No. The Yaffe MBB bars measure almost 2" taller than they are advertised as. His 10"s measure almost 12",his 12"s measure almost 14" etc.

I have 10" and they measure about 11". If you want not above fairing like I did 10" are max 12" would go above fairing.

Those would be 14s if they were standard apes. I have 12 1/2 wild ones and they are at the base of the windshield.
