First, I wish I could find the original thread for this but after taking 15 minutes to look for it I give up.
I picked up the new FLTRX a couple of weeks ago and along with it all the things that needed to be changed, including the handlebars. Some other member mentioned the Heritage bars and that I wouldn't need the adapter cable which they were 100% correct about. But, I did find with the TBW that there are two cables that come from the throttle; the first being the 6 wire connecter and this other one with just 2 leads to it that I can't find the other end for.
I don't think this 2 wire plug was in fact connected, I have no problem with the bike and how it runs/operates. Can anyone here give me a clue as to if I did miss a connection or this is some feedback for some option I don't have?
The black connector is for heated grips and if you don't have it, it won't be hooked up, the other end will be behind the nachelle wire bundle. I conveniently sniped it off when I ran my wire for the apes.
Kind of what I thought. I did as I think you suggested, just snip the tie wrap and there'd be plenty. I know I had only disconnected the 6 lead plug but of course said to myself "what the heck is this one?" when I pulled them out.
