The light I had was a gray lens with just a 1157 replacement LED bulb, I was not comfortable with it's lack of "Catch Your Eye" ability. I was at the revived Hollister Ralley a couple weeks ago and saw LED vendor called Radianz. Went over and saw this very nice looking light with 136 led's for $99.
Well, being the procrastinator that I am I did not buy it at the show. After a week or so of kicking my own butt I went ahead and ordered it. This thing is plenty bright, might even **** some people off. But they will see me.
Nice, sadly I wasn't as lucky.I got one off Ebay and I think it was made in Hong Kong..The LEDs started popping out after a few rides. That was on my Fatboy..got the new SG now
I've had a BAL brakelight for a couple years now. These LED's are a great safety item and give you piece of mind.
One suggestion: Get the HD kit that converts your rear turn signals to running/ brake lights. Then you've got 3 running lights and 3 brake lights instead of just 1 each. The kit's about $60. Got mine from Surdyke.com
