Hey all. I have been a forum member for years. Until yesterday, I was riding a Fat Boy Lo.
I traded that for the FLTRX.
So, I guess I will be coming to this part of the forum for a while.
Man, welcome to the touring section. I too am a recent Fat Boy convert. It was a great bike and I should have kept it, but she's long gone now. I am stunned at all the recent posts of Softail guys switching to touring bikes. Softy's are awesome motorcycles, but many a folk seem to want the bigger motorcycle around here.
it was not "bigger" I was looking for. It was a smoother ride. Around town, NOTHING beats the Fat Boy Lo I had. I got compliments all the time about that bike.
So, I will never diss the fat boy. For me, FLT is a more appropriate bike.
