I have the cheapie from Sears and it works for me.I have also used it a lot with my old shovel without a problem.Common sense has to be a factor with any jack though.

I bought a black widow, its very capable, 1500lb capacity and the bike is sturdy while on it, rolls easy and wheels lock. With out straps I have gotten on the bike and the stand even when the weight was shifted didn't budge, very solid.

I got a 1500 lb. capacity bike jack from my Cornwell Tool dealer. It works great. Actually makes doing the spokes a simple job.

I had the red sears jack and had nothing but problems with it so I returned it for the yellow one and it works just fine.

I only have experience w/ the red Sears jack. Works flawlessly every time. It is a low cost jack and you usually get what you pay for, but I am happy so far. I don't see any reason to go spend more money on a "higher" quality unit! Maybe I just got lucky and found oneof the good ones!!

Red Sears jack--4 years, no problems. Cheap investment for everything from maintenance to cleaning. Power lifts are great, guess it just depends on what suits your needs.

Tell me more about your experiences with that table lift Lil Truckr.. I have a decent air compressor that runs my power tools, I might have to look into this option....

ORIGINAL: Lil Truckr

I agree with everyone else about the Sears bike lift. If you watch sales you can get it for around $60 or so. I store my Ultra up on my Sears lift all winter long and neverhad any problems.

If you want a full table lift take a look at this one.

I own one and feel its extremely well built for the money plus it comes with a FREE service jack.

Ride safe...

bought mine for my RKC at Sears 59 dollars - works great - don't clean anything like wheels without one. It is safe and well rated above the weight of bike. I can spin my bike all the way around in my garage on it salfely without straps - although changing a wheel I would strap it down. You could buy ten Sears lifts for the price of many nicer but worth it?
