Default Road King Classic owners...help please.

I am debating on whether to buy a lift or not. I've never used one before. I've done the searches on here and I'm still not sure and am still skeptical. It looks like to get a good one that it is going to be pricey. I sure don't want to drop my bike! How many, even though its going to be extra work, clean their spoked wheels and whitewalls without using a lift?

Well, ah'll let others speak fer themselves - but fer me, ah feel strongly 'nuff that I put together a Group Buy that closed yesterday, but they'll probably let ya "in" on -

Vendor: Handy-Lift - www.handyindustries.com

Go to their website an' enter the model number to see the specs on each
unit. The prices are FOB factory - those of ya close to one another that
can "share" a commercial delivery point can save a few more $$$ by havin'
'em shipped together. These folks ship all over, so they have pretty decent
shipping rates.

all Cycle Vises-$76..00

Model # 10740 Standard Air Lift - $655.00

Model # 16000 S.A.M Lift - $755.00

Model # 14472 B.O.B. Lift - $1,107.00

Trike Kit - $253.00

If yer interested, lemme know ASAP - ah'm supposed to call him today with the final count, but ah'm gonna try to get them to honor the pricing fer a week or two if possible...

I store my bike on my lift whenever I'm not on my bike.

FWIW though, the red SEARS jack does not drop down far enough to slide under my UC so I have (2) 12x12 landscape cement squares I pull it up onto to get my jack under it.

Look for a jack that you don'thave to do all of this with to diminish the potential of the bike falling over while jumping through these hoops.

I highly recommend getting one. It's great for cleaning the bike and doing some maintanence. Also get yourself a nice creeper chair that you can use to work on the bike while it's on the lift. If money is an issue, you can get the red Sears jack on sale for $59. I have the yellow Sears jack.

I have the Red Sears jack and it works just fine.
It won't slide under the frame unless I push the Bike up off the Jiffy stand. But that's no big deal, just takes a couple seconds.
A jack is a must for all Motorcycle owners.

Meh, must be the weight difference b/t the UC and RK.........if so, get the red jack, it's a steal for what they sell them for.

I have the yellow sears jack and I use it when I clean the bike and the spokes and whitewalls. The only thing about it ist awfully shakey. I'd like to have something more solid. If I had the samolians I'd get the handy lift that Texasredneck set up but I can't do it right yet

I agree with everyone else about the Sears bike lift. If you watch sales you can get it for around $60 or so. I store my Ultra up on my Sears lift all winter long and neverhad any problems.

If you want a full table lift take a look at this one.

I own one and feel its extremely well built for the money plus it comes with a FREE service jack.

Ride safe...
