I have the Harley Goodies kit and the HD extended floorboard pans, extended shift and brake levers.. So I'm out 1" and forward 1". Just want floorboards lowered now.

I don't recommend lowering the Boards, but this might give you a few ideas.

If you don't mind sitting a little higher, see if you've got an upholstery shop in your area that works on bike seats. I had my Tallboy seat re-worked to give me another 1 1/2" back and 1" higher.

Check with dealers in your area for a recommendation on an upholster.

When did Harley stop making floorboards that aren't adjustable? Mine came from the factory with 3 height adjustment for front and rear boards in 1996. Or is yours already on the lowest setting and you want them lower.

Boards on the newer Touring bikes are no longer adjustable.

http://www.tallboyscycles.com. I seen these guys at a motorcycle show and swap meet in Ohio they had a newer road glide with this kit installed for people to sit on. I am 6'1 350 lbs and have had some issues with floor board placement after sitting on their bike I was really impressed by the new location. The only thing they said was it is recommended that you lose the heal shifter because it gets in the way. These are probably on the list of mods for the winter.

You can do anything that you want. The question is should you?
