Default Moving passenger boards forward

In an ongoing struggle to fit my 06 Ultra to the wife and I, I now need to move her boards a couple of inches forward. I have the stock brackets mounted at the lowest position and installed some 3/4" spacers so she is low enough and far enough out, but she's only on the front half of the board. I looked at both the HD and Rivco adjustable setups but that price tag is a dandy! Does anyone make a simple offset board mount that uses the factory board and allows the board to move forward a few inches?

Something to think about before you actually do this...many of us have found that the passenger floor boards in the stock position REALLY interfere with our lower legs when backing the bike up... if you move them two inches forward, it might actually get to the point where it's going to be dangerous for you, the rider, when maneuvering the bike with your feet. I guarantee it would be for me...

I agree with the above post. You move those rear boards forward and you will not have room for your own legs at a stop. Look at these as a option.

I would also be concerned with the amount of force exerted on the mounting bolts as the passenger mounts/dismounts the bike.

I think if my wife was that big I would be riding in the back. What about a peg set up? Like on the street glide. My wife prefers them to the boards anyway.

I showed her the swing out pegs from Kuryakyn and she'd like to give those a try. Thanks for the tips!

There are ways to move the tour pack back 2"; that would solve your problem...

Best option would be the Kuryakan Tour Pack Relocator and adjustable pegs. That would move her back and give her adjustable positions for the pegs. Put the set up on mine and she's happy!
