Default '13 Streetglide LED or HID?

I really hate my stock head light on my bike, getting outta work at 9 I do a lot of night time riding, so I desperately need something brighter.

I've read around people saying HIDS are better and brighter then LEDS?

How true is that?

Is there any cheaper LED headlight then the $550 one Harley sells?

Also, where can I find a good HID kit to compare the 2?

LED Just spend the extra cash and be done with it. You wont regret it. Find a dealer that will discount them for u

LED: Trucklight brand. Cheaper than HD and great output.

Kuryaken Phase 7 led which is also known as Truck lite TL7. You can find them on eBay for half the price of the HD day maker. I love mine.

It must be light night, lol, just responded to another thread about driving lights. My opinion, if going for brighter, LED is the way to go. I first went with the HD LED Headlight and had the stock driving lights. That lasted about another paycheck or two and then went with the HD driving lights. Not cheap, but for me, living in Deer Crossing Town USA, worth it, every single penny. Although, I've heard great things about the Trucklights, and you will save some money with them and they get good reviews.

I've had both. The Trucklite is hands down the best bang for the buck on SG's and Ultras. I currently have the Harley LED on the RG. I like Harley LED for RG's and the Trucklight for you batwing folks. The Trucklite is very comparable to the Harley at a fraction of the cost.
