got a 2011 street glide with 103
Bought new and had kit installed to 110"
Last August after oil change start the motor and had slight knock
Check oil the level was just on the stick
Took back to the d ship they indicated put full capacity of oil in it
No leaks anywhere, no smoke or oil out of the pipes
d-ship tore down the motor and found some carbon on the pistons but other than that no issues what so ever
Last night had exactly same scnario, slight noise, checked oil slightly on the dipstick after 1500 miles on new synthetic oil
took back to d ship they checked plugs, exhaust, and looked for leaks absolutly nothing, they added 2.5 quarts and said to drive another 500 miles and check it
need help, any ideas out there?
Just keep taking to the dealership. Something good might happen like a new motor. I have the same issue and accepted the fact that they eat oil. That and the blow by I get where oil craps out through my air filter
Your title is incorrect. You have a 110 losing oil.
Hard to believe they tore down the engine and didn't at least look in the primary for the fugitive oil per TUCCIs observation.
Are you having any shifting or finding neutral issues?
Have you had any engine light warnings?
Is the bike running good...are you making plenty of power?
What have your oil temperatures been running?
Any oil coming out of your air intake?
Any seepage around the motor anywhere...oil spots on the floor?
Anyway, that's a lot of oil to just go AWOL. And you should know that the dealer is always going to say that they put the right amount of oil in. What else would you expect them to say?

You may thing on this one. Had a friend do a build 107', cams head work. This is on a 07 Street Glide. Same thing with oil missing, not going to the primary. They put in the oil pressure up grade in the cam support plate. Alot of pressure push oil up in the heads with no return path back or as fast back. The motor then push oil out the breathers in the heads and in the throttle body and back to burning it. Fix was to drill out the oil gallies in the heads a little bigger. Fix worked.
My 2007 Ultra did that. Found out it was wet sumping all the oil was going into the sump at the bottom of the motor. Lost the oil pump shortly after. This happened back in '07 when the bike was new.
