Pete, I just bought four bottles from J&P for $13.49 a bottle, (with free shipping with their Sturgis week special.) As they did not have it in stock at their facility in Sturgis, they gave us another 10% off as per signage in their building. I just now googled, and found another site at $11.95, but don't know about the shipping.

Bagman, with all due respect, I believe it is you who has misread directions. Go back and check. I have four brand new bottles right in front of me, with original directions dating back to 2011.

They read, and I quote, "Drive your vehicle 3-5 miles to allow Ride On to spread evenly inside of your tires. You may experience a slight vibration for up to ten miles until Ride On has a chance to coat the inside of your tires evenly."

From their White paper on their web site:

"With Ride-On in your tires, the problem of having to rebalance your tires goes away. As you drive,
the sealant is sensing the forces created by the spinning tire and the gel makes adjustments from
inside the tire to balance out the centripetal and centrifugal forces."

http://www.ride-on.com/images/storie...TSP-062808.pdf

There would be no point whatsoever in trying to spin balance a tire with dynamic balancers in it, whether it be Ride On, Dyna Beads, or balancing sand (used in truck tires).

120 Mph? Eeee-ha!

I recently bought new tires for my Dyna and used the Ride-on and it was easy to install and the ride is very smooth. Plus some added peace of mind.

So I went ahead with it for my Ultra Limited tires as well, same results. Like others have said, still need to check for nails and damage as usual, but if it prevents a flat out on the highway at speed it'll be well worth it!

It does seem to run very smooth at speed, I am very happy so far. At least up to 80mph.

Lot's of positives, no negatives. This stuff is sounding better and better. Plus, I've always been annoyed by balancing machines not spinning fast enough. They balance for 65 mph, you got 80 and get a vibration, then they tell you you shouldn't go that fast. I'm buying a new rear this week and am 99% sure I'm going this route.

To balance the stock rear on 09 and up touring bikes you will need 13oz. make sure you measure accurately. After you put the second bottle down after emptying the first and it sits for a while and the stuff slides down to the marks on the bottle it seems you always have to ad more. By the way if that does happen to you you can always go back and ad some again to the tire, it's not a big deal

OK I did it. I did the 13oz. and measured accurately. It was actually a bit of a pain making sure you got the right amount in. Worth it though. I'm very happy so far. No vibration at all. Last Sunday I spent a lot of time over 90MPH too.

Yea the biggest pain in the *** is the measurement. You think you got 13oz in then put the bottle down and look at it the next day after setteling and the stuff on the sides of the bottle has settled and you realize you have to put in another ounce. This has happened to me a couple times. I calles Ride on about it and they said, no problem, just remove valve core again and put in what you missed, air it up and Ride On!
I love the stuff

This is a good point. I installed a new Metz 888 on the front of my Heritage last week. It was spun balanced at the traditional low speed. Front end shakes so bad at 38 and 52 and 60 mph plus, it shakes my feet off the boards. I took off the wheel assy a second time and they rechecked it and installed 1.75oz of weight about 1" different from the first spin balance. Same result. Tire and wheel look good from both directions, when it is spun, but it has that in and out of balance while riding. The wore out Dunlop I took off had no shake. I know this post is from a few months ago, but I'm going to try the Ride-On. I hope it will go in the tube. I couldn't get the beads thru the valve stem using every method but drill the valvle stem out. Yes I removed the core.
