B. Woods Roller Chain Conversion kit
Has anyone out there installed the Woods Cam Plate Conversion Kit. My Indy has used them on three bike jobs and says it's far better than the SE Hydraulic kit. I'm getting close to 30K and am planning on doing a upgrade on the tensioners. LR.
I guess it would depend on whether you are planning to change your cams or not. The Harley 25284-11 allows the use of the early model cams, but upgrades the cam chain tensioners to hydraulic. The Wood kit requires that you buy a conversion cam in order to use it. If you go with the SE 25282-11 you would also have buy the conversion cam, cam chains, sprockets, and tensioners. The advantage is a slightly better oil pump, billet cam plate, and you could get the Zipper's dual piston tensioners, which in my opinion are much better than the stock items.
