The biggest problem with a lot of these setups is they are underpowered. Pump too little wattage to a speaker that's capable of more and you'll destroy the speaker with distortion. Pump too much wattage to a speaker and you'll destroy it as well. The trick (or really not so tricky) is the addition of an amp to drive the speaker at the correct level. You'll find all you need to know in the audio section...
here is what I am running:
Two speakrs in the fairing and lowers with a tweeter bar (color matched) and 300 watt amp
Two 6x9's in the bags and two 5 1/2 inch in the rear speaker pods with a 300 watt amp in the tour pack
All Rockfordfosgate and the system is way loud. I will try and post it on to you tube.
All toghether is is ten speakers and 600 watts and it is loud.
