Ok thanks. so is there a harness coiled up under the left side cover with enough length to reach back to the tourpak?

Yes there is. Under the left side cover below the right bottom corner of the fuse block...it's in a sheath with the antenna wire. Cut off the sheath and snake it up through the frame so it comes out under the seat. If you look back through this thread I posted pics. As well and wiring up the side makers and the high mount running/brake light.

Here's one I just installed on my bike. Much larger than the current 09 to 13 models.

Cool. Thanks a lot guys. I'll take a look tomorrow. It'll be a few weeks before I get the pak back from the painter

Found the plug and routed it under the seat. Test fit the HD marker lights and the harnesses are a match. Plug and play. Sweet!

Do you think I'll be able to run the solo tourpak mount with the 2014 style bags I have? I've got the 2 up mount but would like the option.

Hello,
I am from switzerland, have a Electra Glide Standard (late 2009 / model 2010) with the 4-point docking hardware, a Detachable 2-Up Luggage Rack (54215-09) and my "english" is verry bad

For my next hollyday (4 weeks in the pyrenees and french alps ) i want mount a 2014-King-Tour-Pack. But my dealer and Harley Switzerland say: "That's not possible. For the 2014 Tour-Pack you need a 2014 machine because the '14 mounting-rack does not work on '09 / '10 Electra Glide Standard-4-point docking hardware."

Okay, that is the meaning from Harley Switzerland. Now i found in this thread the following statements:

Happy with the fit finish and look of the 2014 tour pack on a 12 street glide,

Time for everyone to order this up.

Yes
That sounds verry good.

My question is: Can i mount a '14 King-Tour-Pack (53000377BHY) with the '14 Detachable 2-Up Tour-Pak Mounting Rack (53000221) and the '14 King Tour-Pak Backrest Pad mooth (52300312) on my '09 Electra Glide Standard?
Sorry for the stupid question, but I want to be sure because this three things cost me all together CHF 2000.- (about $ 2250.-).

Beautiful easter wishes from Switzerland
Hans

Hans,

It will work fine. Don't worry about what the guys at the dealership tell you.

On top of what you have listed you will need the key matched barrel lock and two mounting screws for the tour pak and I would also suggest you get the tour pak liner as well.
