I was wondering that also. Was curious if it was a air duct to aid in the movement of air down the side of the bike. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.
This is a pic I posted a few days ago of an unassembeld Street Glide. The duct goes form the outside of the fairing to the inside. With a single button to open and close. Nothing more. Nothing less. The Limited was exactly the same.
