Just got the Cee Baileys in today. I have always had softails in the past so I have no experience with changing the windshield out. Someone posted some tips on installing the Cee Baileys a few weeks ago but I couldn't find it. Could yall help me out? Is there anything to it?
On A bagger, you take out the 3 screws just below the top edge of the fairing. Separate the inner and outer fairing a bit. Remove the old windsheild, install the CeeBaileys and reinstall the screws.
Too add to soos' post, if your windshield has never been out it may be stuck a little bit so gently wiggle and pry it up. Also be careful not to strip out those little gold ferrule inserts. Now would also be a good time to add the chrome windshield trim strip since you're going to have those screws out
The center bolt doesn't seem to match up and it feels like I am going to strip out the insert. The insert is lower than the others. the side inserts match up fine. Any ideas?

The holes in the shield should be large enough to adjust the shield to line up. You know ya just gotta wiggle it a bit. I have one on my SG and it's great. no problem with the fitment.
hey chopper, had same issue on my ultra. easiest way to fix it is have someone sit on the bike and stand bike up straight with front wheel straight. if someone is not available to sit on bike for you, just turn handlebars to straight position and work from there. everything should line up.
