Default Jiffy Stand Question

Hi. New to the post so apologies if I've chosen the wrong forum. I've noticed that when my 2012 Classic is on the jiffy stand, only the toe of the stand's foot is on the ground, rather than the entire foot. This can make dents in paved driveways, etc. on hot days. I've looked at other newer bikes and they seem the same. The stand on my previous '95 Classic had the entire foot flat on the ground which distributed the weight and, voila, no nasty divots. I know there is no adjustment. Has anybody else pondered this, or am I just too **** for my own good health?

Am off riding for a few days, so will check the forum upon return. Thanks in advance. Cheers.

I gotta 95 and 09 FLHTC.

the jiffy stands hit the floor the same way.

the 95 feels more "positive" on the jiffy though

I've never gotten down on the ground and looked to see how much my kickstand touches. I'd think the foot of the kickstand would be flush on the ground not just part of it.

Had to go the garage anyway so I looked....the foot portion on mine sits flatly on the garage floor. If you look closely in my sig pic, you can see it there also.

just put a coaster under it ..... they do make fancy coasters for you to put under it . often at biker rally's various venders will give them away .. or real fancy google a product called the KICK SHOE .

I take a freebee coaster thingy my insurance agent gave me for soft asphalt or dirt to keep the bike from sinking .

Hmmmmmm... Still wondering why OP's stand doesn't fit flat on the ground.
